Microsoft Partner Readiness course: SQL Server 2008
As well as Windows Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008 also has experienced official world lunch a few days ago. It is our pleasure to invite you to the SQL Server 2008 course, which will take place on March 10th, 2008 in our training center. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn about new features of SQL Server 2008 product, and see how it can improve productivity and security in your business environment.
Summary
During this one-day course participants will be introduced with new features of SQL Server 2008 in developing solution and relational database administration, as well as some interesting SQL 2008's possibilities and integration solution from business information field. Mentioned topics will be covered by lectures and labs.
Trainer
The training will be lectured by Microsoft Certified Trainer Dragoslav Ogar (MCSD, MCDBA, MCTS), who has been delivering successfull trainings on SQL Server 2005 and BI topics for many years He was awarded as one of the three best speakers (among 90 of them) for his lecture about Business Intelligence on the Microsoft regional conference for Southeast Europe: Sinergija 06. He is also a MSF trainer, and he often takes a part as a consultant in projects which combine MSF, developer and database Microsoft products.
Audience profile
This training is for administrators and developers who will work on implementation and administration of SQL Server 2008 and related services.
Required skills
Candidates for this training must have experience in maintaining and administration of SQL Server 2000/2005 as well as experience in application development with SQL Server 2000/2005.

This course covers following topics: - Using Resource Governor for managing concurrent work resources - Forcing polices thrugh entire business environment with Declarative Management Framework - Reducing the storage requirements for data and increasing query performance with data compression - Securing data with Transparent Data - Applying advanced performance, usability, virtualization and integration of SQL Server Reporting Services and   Office 2007 products.
